Contact UsPremium wine and blissful serenity, our three and four day Wine and Beyond Spa breaks in Bordeaux provide our customers with the ultimate relaxation experience, in the sumptuous surroundings of the charming vinotherapy heaven, the 5* Sources de Caudalie.
On day two, the morning will be spent enjoying the hotel’s award-winning facilities with a half day regenerating spa experience. First of all, you will relax in a Red Wine Bath, which is renowned for its excellent circulatory and exfoliating properties. Alternatively you may prefer a hydrating Honey and Wine wrap, ideal for moisturising your skin. A Warm Oil massage and a 50 minutes anti-oxidant Grand Facial treatment using Caudalie’s world-famous products will follow.
At around lunch time, you will be escorted to the village of Péssac in an executive vehicle. Here, you will be welcomed as the VIP guests of the Grand Cru Classé Château Pape Clément, in the Graves appellation. Following a private tour of the majestic estate and cellars, an unforgettable gourmet picnic lunch with a selection of four of the Château wines will be served in the stunning gardens. You will be taken back to your hotel at the end of the activity.
In the afternoon, you will be taken on an exclusive private tour of the famous Château Smith Haut Lafitte followed by a tasting session of several of the Château’s wines. The tastings will be accompanied by roasted almonds. A five course gastronomic dinner paired with local wines will be served at the hotel’s double Michelin-starred restaurant in the evening.
For those booking the four day package, you will be met after breakfast on day three by an English-speaking specialist driver/guide, who will accompany you throughout the day on a private tour of the famous vineyards of the Médoc or Saint-Emilion (or Graves and Sauternes if preferred) in a Mercedes S Class vehicle.
Guests are free to choose their preferred three Châteaux for tours and tastings. The Grape Escapes Bordeaux specialists are happy to offer advice and make suggestions if you would prefer. Please note that a number of the more exclusive estates do not tend to receive visitors at weekends and some of them do not receive visitors at all. We would be pleased to discuss the various options with you and contact the individual estates accordingly.
