For those looking for a mid-week or weekend wine tour with a good introduction to the various tastes and styles of Languedoc wines available, this may be the answer. Upon arriving in the beautiful medieval city of Carcassonne, begin with a tasting of 6 wines accompanied by nibbles at a delightful wine bar on a hillside nearby, from which you can enjoy spectacular views over Carcassonne. Your guide will then collect you from Hotel du Château for the full day transported tour(s).
Depending on your specific tastes and preferences and the day which your tour falls on, you can choose between a tour of the famous Minervois appellation, world renowned for some of the region’s finest wines, or Corbières, famed for its rocky vine-covered hillsides. You will be accompanied on a private basis by an expert guide, for visits and tastings at some great local wineries in the area. For those booking the four day break, enjoy both full day tours. Just let us know which date would be most convenient for you, and we will advise which specific tour(s) will be available.
