The InterContinental Bordeaux is located on the Place de la Comédie, in the very heart of Bordeaux, opposite the Opera House. An impressive 18th-century building, the hotel lives up to its namesake as the ‘Grand’ hotel, boasting 130 elegant rooms and suites, the l’Orangerie bar, luxury Guerlain spa, a rooftop with spectacular views, and of course, the double Michelin-starred Gordon Ramsay restaurant.
Classic rooms are all inspired by the 19th-century, with refined, elegant decor, and all of the facilities you’d expect in a 5* hotel.
Set within a beautifully restored 19th-century warehouse, Hotel Chais Monnet gets its name from the world-famous Cognac winegrower Jean Monnet who began his career here, before it was eventually developed into a luxury hotel by renowned architect Didier Poignant in 2018. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of town, and its rooms, suites and apartments are spread across four buildings, renovated in a contemporary, tasteful style while still giving a nod to the history of the chais.
Deluxe rooms are all decorated in a clean, sophisticated style, and the hotel also boasts an extensive spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, cognac bar with a never-ending list of cognac references, and Michelin-starred restaurant, ‘Les Foudres’.
