Our three-day Hidden Gem – La Nauve package is designed to offer you the ultimate luxury of the region based at one of Cognac’s premium hotels, La Nauve Hotel & Jardin. The hotel has an intimate feel with only twelve rooms, yet with all the comforts you’d expect from a five-star hotel, and it’s nestled a few minutes outside of Cognac itself, in 12 acres of landscaped gardens.
Upon arrival at La Nauve Hotel & Jardin, check into your preferred room grade. Begin your memorable trip with a spectacular 7-course tasting meal at the hotel’s gourmet restaurant. Please note drinks have not been included as part of the package and can be ordered and paid for locally.
On the morning of day two, after a leisurely breakfast, you will be met at the hotel by a pre-booked and pre-paid premium taxi to be taken into the nearby town of Cognac. Alternatively, we can arrange e-bikes if you prefer. You will begin your day as the VIP guests of the historical Chateau de Cognac, a 10th-century fortress that is home to Baron Otard cognacs. On your private tour of the stunning ageing cellars, you’ll taste the cognac extracted directly from the barrels in front of you. Following this, enjoy a delightful three-course gourmet lunch, paired with a selection of cognacs, served in the King’s private apartments, where Francois I was born.
Following such an enlightening morning, continue your day steps away at the renowned Maison Hennessy. Enjoy a thoroughly unique experience in a masterclass workshop, learning about the secrets behind this iconic cognac, with the opportunity to personalise your own Paradis decanter using Hennessy’s traditional techniques. You’ll also enjoy a guided tasting at the iconic X.O. bar to conclude the experience.
Following your visit, you will be picked up by your pre-booked and pre-paid premium taxi to transport you the short distance back to your hotel. The rest of your evening is free for you to spend as you please, before check out on day three.
