Given the wide range of travel options, our standard package prices do not include travel. The principal options are as follows:
The closest airport to the Vinho Verde region is Porto. There are direct flights from London Gatwick (Easyjet and TAP Portugal), London Stansted (Ryanair) and Liverpool (Ryanair) from the UK. British Airways operates flights from Heathrow airport during the summer and Gatwick year round. Grape Escapes is ATOL registered, number 10831 and we would be happy to book your flights at cost, however a booking fee applies.
Porto Airport is approximately 45-minutes from Amarante by car.
This was our first ever wine trip and her arrangements were seamless. We had a three day trip, our tour guides were very knowledgeable and the producers were all so enthusiastic. Already thinking about our next trip with Grape Escapes ..... perhaps Rioja next!
