Warm climate, Provençal wines and stunning coastlines are the perfect mix for a relaxing break. Our four-day Bandol and Spa package offers a very comfortable stay in a haven of peace, the Hotel Ile Rousse Thalazur in the heart of Bandol, as well as tours and tastings at local wineries in the Bandol and Cassis appellations.
Upon arrival in Bandol, check into your preferred room grade at the 5* Hotel Ile Rousse Thalazur. The afternoon will be free for you to spend as you please. You may wish to enjoy the hotel’s private beach and make the most of the Provençal sun. Alternatively, you may prefer to explore Bandol independently. To begin your holiday in style, enjoy a four-course welcome dinner at the hotel’s gastronomic restaurant, which is recommended in the Michelin guide. Drinks are not included and can be ordered and paid for locally on the day.
On day two, you will relax and enjoy a luxurious spa day at the hotel. This is the epitome of relaxation: you’ll be treated to an exfoliating scrub, thalassotherapy treatment of your choice, massage of your choice, and a customised facial. After such a wonderful, relaxing morning, you’ll delight in a three-course lunch at the restaurant inside the hotel or on the beachfront, depending on the time of year. Drinks have not been included as part of the package and can be ordered and paid for locally. The afternoon will be free for you to relax and enjoy the hotel’s spa facilities or one of the two swimming pools.
On day three, it’s time for the wine! This morning you will be met at the hotel by a private chauffeured vehicle, which will accompany you throughout the day for a tour of the Bandol appellation, or Cassis appellation if you would prefer. The Grape Escapes Provence specialists will be pleased to discuss the various options with you. You will learn everything about the wine growing history of the region, its AOC as well as the wine-making process. You will visit the wine-making facilities of some local wineries and your tour will conclude with tastings of their wines. You will be taken back to your hotel at the end of the tour. The evening will be free for you to spend as you please before check out on day four.

We have just returned from our trip and would like to let you know how much we enjoyed ourselves. During the trip everyone was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was great. It was really interesting to visit such a variety of Domaines and taste their excellent wines. We thought that the choice of Domaines and Caves was well thought out.
