Champagne Day Celebration Tour

Friday 20th October marks our favourite celebratory day in the calendar year – Champagne Day! To mark the occasion, we’ve created this one off package, to give you the opportunity to visit the region on the day in question…

Friday 20th October 2017- Champagne Day!

• Upon arrival in the magnificent Champagne region, check into your preferred room grade at 4* Hotel de la Paix, ideally located in the heart of the city centre.
• After settling in and freshening up, walk to your preferred prestigious estate in Reims, where you will be welcomed for a full tour of the estate and cellars, followed by the opportunity to taste two flutes of their Champagnes. You can choose to visit either GH Mumm or Champagne Taittinger as preferred; both estates are within walking distance of your hotel.
• You will then make your way back into Reims city centre, where you will be welcomed at a luxurious wine bar, to discover the ‘treasures of Champagne’! Your extensive early evening tasting session here will consist of no less than six Champagnes, produced by local small boutique estates!
• The remainder of the afternoon and evening will be free to relax and enjoy your fantastic surroundings. If you would like to upgrade your package to include even more Champagne on this fantastically fizzy day, we can arrange for you to enjoy a three course Champagne tasting dinner at a local restaurant in Reims. Each course will be accompanied by a different flute of Champagne, and the supplement will be £51 per person. 

Saturday 21st October 2017

• After a leisurely breakfast, check out of the hotel, and at your own pace commence your return journey.
• If you’d like to extend your celebrations, we would be delighted to arrange an extra nights’ stay at the hotel, and further Champagne House tours and tastings as desired. Contact us for the relevant supplements.

The total price of this package is dependent on the number of people travelling, and includes 1 nights’ bed and breakfast accommodation at 4* Hotel de la Paix, tour and tastings of a prestigious estate, and a boutique tasting session of 6 Champagnes.

• Prices are quoted for the total number of guests travelling, and are based on guests sharing double/twin room(s)
• Travel to the region has not been included as part of the package, however we would be delighted to arrange this for you if required
