Trip Summary

Upon arrival at the beautiful 5* Château de Berne in the heart of the pretty Provençal vineyards, check into your preferred room grade. After settling in, you will be taken on a private tour of the estate’s world class vineyard and winery, tasting eight Château de Berne wines. In the evening, a five course wine pairing dinner will be served in the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant.

After breakfast on day two, you will be met at the hotel by an executive chauffeured vehicle, which will accompany you throughout the day on a private basis. Starting the day in true style, you will be welcomed at Château d’Esclans, the creator of the world-famous Whispering Angel. Sacha Lichine wanted to create the greatest rosé wines in the world and on a behind-the-scenes tour of the estate, you will see first-hand his innovative wine-making techniques. Your tour will conclude with a tasting of Whispering Angel.

You will then be taken to Château de Saint Martin, a fantastic Cru Classé winery. This charming 18^th Century estate has been preciously passed on from generation to generation since its foundation. Here, you will be taken on a tour of the stunning underground cellars, dating back to the Middle Ages, concluding with tastings of six of the Château’s best wines and a delicious picnic lunch in the picturesque setting of the Château’s grounds.

Your final visit of the day will take place at another prestigious producer of rosé wines, La Commanderie de Peyrassol. Founded in the 13^th Century by the Knights Templar, this historic estate was a favourite resting place for pilgrims on their way to the Holy Land. Today’s owners have restored the domaine to its former glory and following a guided tour, you will taste extensive examples of some of the region’s most highly-regarded rosé wines. After returning to your hotel, the evening will then be free to spend as you please.

For those spending a third night and booking the four day package, your chauffeur will return on the morning of day three, and accompany you on a second day of tastings. First stop will be Château Sainte Roseline, who produce superb Cru Classé rosés (as well as some reds and whites too). Here, enjoy a cellar tour and tastings. You will then be taken to the cosmopolitan town of Saint-Tropez, where lunch with drinks will be served in a gastronomic restaurant on the beachfront. In the afternoon, you will visit Minuty, one of the most loved producers of premium rosés. At their modern Château which overlooks the Saint-Tropez peninsula, you will be taken on a guided tour, concluding with tastings of the famous Minuty range. You will be taken back to your hotel at the end of the day for your final evening at leisure.

• In the morning, your chauffeur will return and accompany you on a second day of tours. Your tour day will comprise of:
• A tour and tasting at Château Sainte Rosaline.
• Lunch with drinks in a gastronomic beachfront restaurant in Saint-Tropez.
• A tour and tasting at Minuty.
• The evening will be free to do as you please.

Final Day

• After a leisurely breakfast, check out of the hotel.

• These prices are per person and based on two people travelling together and sharing a twin or double room.
• These are realistic guide prices, based on travel in standard season (usually April to the end of October). Discounts often apply for travel out of season (usually November to the end of March) or if there are more than two of you travelling together. Please let us know your preferred travel dates for a definitive price.
• Although we propose specific hotels as part of our standard packages, we enjoy excellent relationships and preferential rates at the majority of the hotels in each of our featured destinations. Therefore if you would prefer to stay in a different hotel, this can be arranged. Please contact us for the relevant supplements/discounts.
• Other room grades are available at most of the hotels that we work with. Just let us know which hotel you prefer and we will send you the relevant supplements for the various room grades.
