This seven or eight day package offers the ultimate in Tuscan luxury. Staying in our selected Exclusive Tuscany hotels, guests will enjoy a flawless level of service at the hotels and private VIP tours. Upon arrival in Florence, check into your preferred room at Hotel Lungarno. The remainder of the day will be free for you to settle in and do as you please. The hotel is located in the heart of Florence, allowing you to explore this magnificent city at your own convenience.
In the evening a five course tasting dinner with wine pairing will be served in the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Borgo San Jacopo.
After breakfast, your private guide will meet you at your hotel for a walking tour of this remarkable city. You will learn about Florence’s rich history from a knowledgeable professional as you stroll through the historic streets and vibrant piazzas. After this captivating journey through time, you’ll have some free time to enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the city’s charming trattorias.
In the evening, you’ll enjoy a private culinary experience where you’ll delve into Tuscan gastronomy alongside a skilled chef. During this hands-on class, you’ll learn to prepare traditional dishes and after the session you’ll savour your creations paired with Tuscan wines. The remainder of the evening is free.
After breakfast and check out on day three, you will be met at the hotel by an English-speaking specialist wine driver/guide, who will accompany you on a full day Chianti wine tour in an executive level vehicle (Mercedes E Class or equivalent). The enticing blend of history, culture and gastronomy starts right away, as you drive along the hilltops of the “Black Rooster” road, the ancient Chiantigiana road, which is the Chianti wine road. During your Tuscany wine tour, your guide will tell you about the legend of the Florentine black rooster and how it differs to the Sienese white one.
You will firstly be welcomed as the guests of the prestigious Antinori winery for a VIP experience. Here, you will taken on a full behind-the-scenes tour of the estate and cellars, seeing first-hand the individual stages of the production process and your visit will conclude with tastings of seven of Antinori’s most celebrated wines, including Cervaro della Sala, Pian delle Vigne, Badia a Passignano and the famous Tignanello. The tasting will take place in the most exclusive part of the cellars, the intimate Bottaia room. Lunch will then be served in Antinori’s restaurant, which is located on the scenic rooftop terrace. The traditional Italian cuisine will be accompanied by two further Antinori wines. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit your favourite Chianti winery for a tour and tastings. The Grape Escapes Tuscany specialists are happy to offer advice and make suggestions if you would prefer. Please note that a number of the more exclusive estates do not tend to receive visitors at weekends and some of them do not receive visitors at all. We would be pleased to discuss the various options with you and contact the individual estates accordingly.
After a day visiting the Chianti wine region, your driver will take you to the luxurious COMO Castello del Nero. Upon arrival, check into your preferred room at the hotel. You’ll have some time to freshen up before dinner. In the evening a six course gourmet dinner paired with wines will be served in the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant – La Torre.
On day four, after a leisurely breakfast enjoy a relaxing morning at the hotel. You have the choice to do as little or as much as you would like. You may wish to relax at the hotel and make use of the amazing facilities. The hotel boasts a fantastic spa including indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, hammam and jacuzzi. After a relaxing morning, your driver will return to take you on another delightful day visiting a further winery and exploring the gorgeous city of Siena- UNESCO World Heritage site. On your way to Siena you will stop at a beautiful winery where you’ll enjoy a guided tour , tasting session and light lunch. After your tour your driver will take you to Siena where you’ll experience a tasting session at a charming tasting boutique at a central location. Following your visit you’ll have free time to explore the enchanting streets of Siena at your leisure, immersing yourself in its remarkable heritage. In the evening you have the option to either stay in Siena and dine at one of the many trattorias and restaurants or return to your hotel for dinner at one of the on-site restaurants. Dinner isn’t included, however we would be happy to recommend a selection of restaurants or assist you in making a reservation.
On day five after breakfast, check out of your hotel. Your driver will return to take you to your next destination. En route, you will enjoy a visit at a charming, family-run winery where you’ll be taken on a full tour of the estate, followed by a delicious lunch served with a selection of the estate’s wines. After your visit your driver will take you to the elegant Castello Banfi- a historic 13th- century castle nestled in the heart of Tuscany.
Upon arrival check into your preferred room grade at the hotel before enjoying a tour and tasting of the hotel’s winery.
In the evening, a five course dinner with wine pairing will be served at the hotel’s Michelin starred restaurant La Sala dei Grappoli.
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be met at the hotel by private chauffer who will accompany you throughout the day on a private basis. You will firstly be welcomed as the guests of a prestigious winery in Montalcino where you will be taken on a full behind-the-scenes tour of the estate and cellars, seeing first-hand the individual stages of the production process and your visit will conclude with a vertical tasting of four wines. Lunch will then be served at the winery’s restaurant. After lunch, you will be taken to the picturesque village of Montepulciano, where you will be welcomed at an historic winery known for the production of Vino Nobile de Montepulciano. After exploring the fascinating wine cellars located in the heart of Montepulciano you will enjoy a tasting session of four wines paired with local delicacies. Your driver will take you back to your hotel at the end of the day. We would be delighted to book you a table in the evening or you may prefer to dine on site.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel. For some, today marks the end of the journey. For those opting for the nine-day tour, your driver will return this morning to take you to the final leg of your trip. And what better way to end such an enriching itinerary than with a few days unwinding by the sea, with a touch more wine to savour?
You will make your way to the beautiful Tuscan coast, where you will also have the opportunity to explore the charming village of Bolgheri. On the way, you’ll stop at a world-renowned winery, celebrated for its production of iconic Super Tuscan wines—prestigious blends that broke traditional DOC rules by combining native Italian grapes with international varieties, resulting in bold, expressive reds that have gained global recognition.
During your visit, you will enjoy a guided tour of the estate followed by a relaxed lunch, perfectly paired with a selection of their finest wines. Please note that visits to Super Tuscan wineries have extremely limited availability and we can’t guarantee that visits will always be possible. After your visit, your driver will take you to the elegant Tombolo Talasso Resort. Once checked into your chosen room category, the rest of the day is yours to unwind—whether that’s by the beach, at the pool, or in the hotel’s spa facilities.
Dinner is not included this evening, however we would be delighted to recommend and reserve a local restaurant.
Today has been left entirely at leisure for you to unwind and enjoy the final full day of your Exclusive Tuscany break. You may choose to spend the morning relaxing by the beach or pool, taking full advantage of the hotel’s coastal setting. Alternatively, for those wishing to explore a little further, you might like to visit the charming centre of Bolgheri—known for its cypress-lined avenue, artisan shops, and welcoming trattorias. The hotel would be delighted to arrange a taxi for you (payable locally), and we would be happy to recommend a nice restaurant for a relaxed lunch.
In the early evening, you’ll be met at the hotel by a private driver for a truly special farewell experience. You’ll visit another Super Tuscan winery, where you will enjoy a magical sunset in the vineyards, followed by a wine-paired dinner served at the estate’s elegant restaurant. After dinner, your driver will return you to the hotel for your final night in Tuscany.
