Surrounded by vineyards, Le Logis du Paradis is a beautiful collection of 16th Century buildings that today make up a luxury guest house in the heart of the Cognac region. With its own distillery and its traditional courtyard, original features are combined with modern comforts for a truly relaxing stay.
The Logis du Paradis is situated amongst the Grande Champagne Cognac vineyards, mid-way between the Channel ports and the Spanish border. The logis is some 30 minutes from the towns of Cognac and Angoulême, 40 to 90 minutes from the Gironde and the Atlantic beaches and islands and approximately one hour north of Bordeaux, St Emilion and their vineyards.
The logis’ English owners, Sally and Nick are friendly hosts and guests have the use of a private salt water swimming pool in a secluded and sunny garden with chairs, tables and sun loungers. Breakfast is served either in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the courtyard and an honesty bar in the kitchen is stocked with mineral water, soft drinks, beer and wine. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.
Accommodation
Each spacious bedroom has a Super King Size bed, which can also be converted into two singles if preferred, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and some also have walk-in showers. For relaxation, comfortable chairs are provided and some of the rooms also have French windows leading to their own terraces. All bedrooms have a flat screen TV and satellite with a large choice of channels and internet access is available throughout the logis.
