Originally a residence for Cistercian Monks, the historically-listed Château de Gilly was transformed in 1988 into a luxury hotel. The Château is well known for its gastronomic restaurant, “Le Clos Prieur,” a beautiful rib-vaulted room supported by slender pillars, which was originally the cellar for the Cistercian Monks.
