- Favourite Grape Escapes destination: All the Grape Escapes destinations are fabulous but I will always have an affinity with the Loire Valley after having lived in Tours for a year as a University student; exploring the numerous Chateaux and wineries by bicycle is a fabulous way to see the area. Place Plumereau, the main square in Tours is also the perfect place to stop for a drink and a pancake
- Pet peeve: Bad grammar, poor spelling, and clothes hangers – (don’t ask!) Also people who see the glass as being half empty – you should be resourceful enough to fill it up or grateful enough for the half which you do have!!
