Contact UsThis day tour is designed to showcase the very best that Bordeaux has to offer, with unique wine tastings, VIP experiences and luxury chauffeured transport. In the morning, you will be met at you preferred pick up point (your hotel, the train station or Bordeaux city centre) by an executive Mercedes E or S Class and English-speaking driver/guide, who will accompany you throughout the day on your private discovery of the Bordeaux vineyards. Today, you will visit your preferred region between the internationally renowned left-bank Médoc, home to Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux’s big, bold reds or the UNESCO classified appellation of Saint-Emilion, home to the Merlot grape and much smoother red wines. If you wish to visit the rarer side of Bordeaux, then exploration of white wines can indeed be arranged, with visits in Graves and Sauternes, where you will taste predominantly Sauvignon Blanc and sweet wines.
Guests are free to choose their preferred Châteaux for tours and tastings. The Grape Escapes Bordeaux specialists are happy to offer advice and make suggestions if you would prefer. Please note that a number of the more exclusive estates do not tend to receive visitors at weekends and some of them do not receive visitors at all. We would be pleased to discuss the various options with you and contact the individual estates accordingly.
In the afternoon, you will be invited to dine in a gourmet restaurant in the Médoc. Your lunch will be served in a quaint Château, surrounded by beautiful grounds. If you are visiting Saint-Emilion, Graves or Sauternes, this lunch will be substituted with an alternative highly-regarded premium restaurant.
At the end of the day, you will be chauffeured back to your desired drop-off point in Bordeaux.

Availability cannot be guaranteed until we have received a confirmed booking, together with the deposit payment (or payment in full where the dates of travel are in less than 60 days). If the named accommodation / visits are not available, we will endeavour to find suitable alternatives of a similar grade; this may be subject to a supplement or a rebate depending on the price available.
