Travel to Bordeaux

As a UK-based company, the below information is particularly relevant to our UK customers. However, we are able to arrange trips for customers from across the globe! If you have any questions about how to get to Bordeaux, please get in touch today.

How to get to Bordeaux

Self-drive

If you are travelling by car, having caught the ferry from the UK, Bordeaux is approximately 4¾ hours’ drive from St Malo and 5½ hours’ drive from Caen.

Ferry Crossings

If required, Grape Escapes can arrange your ferry crossing with Brittany Ferries or Condor Ferries.

For the most convenient journey, we recommend the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo, allowing you to arrive in France in the morning before driving on to Bordeaux.
