Day two is dedicated to discovering the very essence of Barcelona on a private, full-day guided tour, where you’ll explore the city’s most iconic landmarks, vibrant neighbourhoods, and rich cultural heritage. You will be met at your hotel by your friendly English-speaking guide, who will take you on a journey through the Gothic Quarter, where layers of history unfold around every corner. Stroll past ancient Roman walls, discover the remains of a hidden temple, admire the Gothic Cathedral, and soak up the atmosphere of the medieval Jewish district.

The day continues with a visit to Parc Güell, Gaudí’s kaleidoscopic masterpiece. With skip-the-queue entrance included, your guide will offer insights into the architect’s vision and creativity as you explore the vibrant mosaics, whimsical structures, and colourful gardens of the park.

The final stop of the day is the elegant Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona’s most prestigious boulevard. Lined with designer boutiques and striking Modernist architecture, it’s home to Gaudí’s Casa Batlló and Casa Milà (La Pedrera). Your guide will point out the intricate details and hidden gems you might otherwise miss, bringing the city’s architectural legacy to life.

On day three, the choice is yours! You’ll explore Catalonia’s renowned wine regions with a private tour to Penedès (the celebrated home of Cava), or venture to Priorat, which is one of only two prestigious DOCa/DOQ wine regions in Spain.

For those opting for the Priorat experience, your private driver-guide will meet you at your hotel for a full-day journey into one of the most revered wine landscapes in the country. You’ll enjoy private visits and tastings at three Priorat cellars. These vineyards are among the oldest and most distinctive in Spain. Thanks to the region’s dry climate, mineral-rich slate soils, and steep, terraced hillsides, Priorat wines are known for their depth, complexity, and powerful character.

As you wind through the hillsides, you’ll be treated to stunning views that speak to the rugged beauty of this unique region. This tour will give you the opportunity to meet passionate winemakers, taste award-winning full-bodied reds, and enjoy a carefully paired lunch at one of the wineries.

For those wanting to explore the Penedès region and its world-famous Cava, your private driver-guide will meet you at your hotel for a relaxed day of discovery in this beautiful wine region, located just 40 minutes southwest of Barcelona. Along the short drive, your guide will introduce you to the area’s rich vinicultural heritage and the characteristics of its wines and sparkling cavas.

Your day will include visits and tastings at two selected wineries, each offering a unique perspective on the region’s celebrated wines. Between visits, you’ll enjoy a three-course Catalan lunch at a traditional local restaurant, paired with regional wines and showcasing fresh, seasonal produce.

At the end of the day, you will be taken back to your hotel. The evening is yours to continue exploring at your leisure.

After such full and enriching days exploring Barcelona and its wine regions, day four offers the perfect opportunity to unwind. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel and perhaps wind down with a visit to the hotel’s spa or take a gentle stroll through the city at your own pace.

In the afternoon, your private chauffeur will meet you at the hotel and take you to Port Olímpic, where you’ll board a private sunset cruise – a truly memorable way to mark your final day in Barcelona. As you cruise along the Mediterranean coast, soak in the golden evening light with a complimentary bottle of chilled Cava served on board.

• After breakfast, your private driver will meet you at your hotel for a full-day wine tour tailored to your choice.
  • For those opting for Priorat, enjoy exclusive visits and tastings at three wineries set in stunning landscapes, with a traditional lunch served at one of the estates.
  • If you choose to explore Penedès, you’ll visit two boutique wineries and savour a traditional three-course Catalan meal at a local restaurant.
  • At the end of the day, your driver will take you back to your hotel.
• The evening is at your leisure. We would be delighted to recommend and reserve a table for dinner if you wish.

Day Four of your Barcelona Wine Tasting Tour

• Day four is dedicated to unwinding after some busy days exploring.
• After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy the morning at your own pace – whether that means enjoying the hotel’s spa or heading out to explore the city independently.
• In the afternoon, your private driver will meet you at the hotel and take you to Port Olímpic.
• There, you’ll board a private sunset cruise along the Mediterranean coast, complete with a complimentary bottle of Cava.
• After the cruise, your driver will be waiting to take you back to the hotel.
• In the evening, enjoy a tasting menu with wine pairing at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant – the perfect finale to your time in Barcelona.

Therefore if you would prefer to stay in a different hotel, this can be arranged. Please contact us for the relevant supplements/discounts.
