Luxury Provence Tours
If you are looking to discover the beautiful Côte d’Azur away from the crowds that swarm to the region every summer, the town of Saint-Raphaël is the perfect location. Just a short drive from Saint-Tropez and Cannes, the pretty beaches and picturesque harbour are absolutely delightful, and the 5* La Villa Mauresque is a true haven of tranquillity and understated luxury.
After checking into your preferred room grade and spending a relaxing evening in the town, you will be met on the morning of day two by a specialist driver/guide, who will accompany you throughout the day on a private basis.
Today you can expect to taste powerful reds, delicate whites and of course, some of the world’s most sophisticated rosés! Set between the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and the Alpine Mountains, the Côte de Provence vineyards stretch over 200km. The terroirs here are vast and varied, and you will taste this for yourself at three wineries, each producing different styles of Côte de Provence wines. Lunch will be served in a medieval Provençal village and at the end of the day, you will be taken back to your hotel.
For those staying a third night, avoid the traffic on day three and travel along the scenic coastline to Saint-Tropez by boat. The journey will take around an hour, and as the port is located just over 3km from the hotel, you may prefer to ask the reception team to call you a taxi on the day.
Epitomising French elegance and luxury, Saint-Tropez is famous for its stunning beaches, Provençal ambiance and of course, its star spotting opportunities. You will be met on arrival by a private guide, who will accompany you on a 1 ½ hour walking tour, introducing you to the town’s colourful history, quaint cobbled streets and bustling markets. At the end of the tour, a three course lunch with drinks will be served in a beachfront gastronomic restaurant. The afternoon will then be free to explore Saint-Tropez at leisure before cruising back to Saint-Raphaël for your final evening.
