Your tour will take you to the Onofrio’s Fountain which was designed in 1438 by the renowned Italian architect Onofrio di Giordano della Cava. You will visit the old port and learn all about Dubrovnik’s maritime history. You will also be able to see St. Saviour’s Church, the Franciscan Church and monastery as well as some wine producing vines believed to be at least 100 years old. Your guide will regale you with tales and anecdotes of the history of Dubrovnik and its surroundings.
Your tour will end in the harbour where you will be able to take a boat to Lokrum island. The journey time is approximately 15 minutes. Tickets for the return crossing have been included as part of this package. Here, you will have some free time to explore Lokrum’s botanical gardens. Founded in 1959, the garden has more than 800 plant species. Take the boat back to Dubrovnik after your visit.
