Our self-drive wine holidays are designed for those who wish to get between destinations in the comfort of their own vehicle, allowing for maximum flexibility, convenience, and plenty of space to take home any purchases you may wish to make while on your Grape Escape.
As standard, our self-drive France holidays include LeShuttle crossings from Folkestone to Calais for our clients travelling the short distance from the UK. With a crossing time of only 35 minutes, this is a fast and convenient way of reaching France, in addition to unlimited luggage space and ability to reclaim tax on any wines purchased upon your return to the UK. However, if you’re not travelling from the UK, we can also put together a similar itinerary tailored to you if you wish to hire a car upon arrival in France.
Our self-drive holidays encompass everything from whistle-stop two-night breaks to leisurely multi-region holidays. Whilst you will be driving to France or between regions in your own vehicle, we will of course arrange private transport to all of your wine tours, allowing you to fully indulge in the tastings.
