Luxury Nice Wine Tasting
These decadent and extravagant two and three night breaks represent the very best in luxury, French Riviera chic. Based at the sumptuous 5* Hyatt Regency in Nice city centre, you can expect to be truly spoilt and pampered throughout the trip.
After checking into your preferred room grade (we definitely recommend the rooms with sea views!) on the first day, the afternoon will be free to settle in at the hotel and enjoy the incredible facilities. In the evening, a multi-course dinner will be served at the double Michelin-starred Flaveur restaurant. Each course will be perfectly paired with a premium wine.
On day two, you will be met at the hotel by an English-speaking specialist driver/guide, who will accompany you throughout the day on a private basis. During the course of the day, you will discover the very best of the Côte de Provence, a beautiful region renowned for producing the world’s finest rosé wines. You will discover that the appellation also produces excellent fresh whites and full-bodied reds. You will visit three Cru Classé wineries for tours and tastings, learning about the history of the appellation, the grape varieties and the styles of wines. Lunch with drinks will be served in an authentic Provençal restaurant. After returning to Nice, the evening will then be free to enjoy the city’s vibrant nightlife.
For those staying a third night, the next day includes an unforgettable private foodie tour with a fascinating local guide. Taking you on foot from the seafront to the Old Town, you will have the opportunity to taste a mouth-watering array of local specialities and delicacies. Drink in the Côte d’Azur atmosphere like the artists and intellectuals who fell in love with the area over a chilled glass of rosé and indulge in the colours, flavours and scents of the city. You will taste 22 specialities today and the tour will conclude with a mouth-watering Niçoise lunch in a historic, family-owned restaurant with artisanal gelato for dessert. The afternoon will then be free to wander along the famous Promenade des Anglais or sleep off your indulgences on the beach.
On your final evening, a truly unforgettable experience awaits you. The hotel’s concierge will be able to call you a taxi to nearby Beaulieu-sur-Mer and from here, board a Superhawk motor yacht for a two hour private cruise. Enjoy a moment of pure romance, watching the sun set over the Mediterranean sea with a glass of Champagne. If you would prefer a longer excursion in the afternoon as opposed to the evening, perhaps visiting Saint Tropez and some of the islands, just let us know and we’ll provide you with the relevant supplement.
