This Priorat wine tour from Barcelona allows you to combine one of Europe’s most iconic capital cities with some unforgettable wine tasting experiences in Spain’s prestigious Priorat region.
After checking into your preferred room at the Hotel Catalonia Magdalenes, ideally located in Barcelona’s central Gothic Quarter, your trip will commence with the opportunity to sample some of the city’s food scene. Wander through Barcelona’s enchanting streets on a guided small-group food tour, which will see you tasting some of the most authentic Catalan cuisine, including a visit to the seaside neighbourhood of Barceloneta for some excellent seafood.

On day two, your private English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel to take you on a full-day Priorat wine tour from Barcelona. The drive will take approximately 1.5-2 hours and your guide will keep you entertained along the way.
Your day begins with a visit to a small, family-run estate nestled in the heart of Priorat’s rugged landscape. Known for its steep, terraced vineyards and ancient llicorella slate soils, this winery showcases the essence of the region. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of the estate and cellar, learning about the traditional techniques and unique conditions that give Priorat wines their bold character. Following the visit, you’ll enjoy a traditional winery lunch paired with three wines that highlight the flavours of the region.
The second stop of your Priorat wine tour takes you to another winery, renowned for its powerful reds. During your guided tour, you’ll discover their approach to ageing and how tradition meets precision in their cellar. You’ll then enjoy a second tasting of three premium wines, thoughtfully paired with artisan bites to complement the depth and complexity in the glass.

After your visit, you will be taken back to Barcelona. The evening is free for you to explore, and we would be happy to recommend some of our favourite restaurants in the city and reserve you a table if preferred.
Day three of your tour is dedicated to exploring the wonders of Barcelona. You will meet your guide at a central meeting point ready to enjoy a guided walking tour taking in some of the city’s most famous sights. As part of this half-day experience, you’ll be sure to stop for a guided visit of Barcelona’s most famous: La Sagrada Família. Other must-see parts of your guided walking tour will include the Gothic Quarter, architectural façades of Passeig de Gràcia and perhaps the chance to see one or two more of Gaudí’s creations.

After this fascinating morning, the afternoon will be free for you to explore Barcelona at your own pace. For those who didn’t have time to take part in the food tour on arrival day, this could be the perfect moment to end your trip in style with a guided tasting experience through Barcelona’s vibrant culinary scene.
Alternatively, you may wish to discover more of the city’s world-famous landmarks, such as Park Güell, Casa Batlló, Montjuïc Hill, the Picasso Museum, or the bustling waterfront at Port Vell. These visits are not included in your package, but we would be delighted to help you book tickets or guided tours at an additional cost.
Your final evening will be free for you to spend as you please before check out on day four.
