Our Hidden Gem Hostellerie de Levernois offers a relaxing stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Based at the 5* Hostellerie de Levernois, a sumptuous mansion nestled in the heart of a six hectares park, you will be able to make the most of the hotel’s superb facilities, including its Michelin-starred restaurant and impressive gardens. In addition, tours and tastings at premium estates of the Côte de Beaune and of the Côte de Nuits will be arranged for you to learn all about the world-famous Burgundy wines and you will be given the opportunity to taste some delicious authentic local dishes.
Upon arrival in Levernois, check into your Charm room. The remainder of the day will be free for you to do as you please. In the evening, a five course gastronomic dinner will be served in the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant. Drinks can be ordered and paid for directly on the day.
On the morning of day two, you will be met at your hotel by a pre-booked and pre-paid taxi who will take you to the charming town of Beaune. Here, you will be welcomed at the estate of a famous producer. As well as having a full tour of the winery, you will taste six wines from vineyards located in different Burgundy villages. After the tour, your taxi will return to take you to Aloxe-Corton. For lunch, you will be welcomed as the guests of the authentic family-owned Domaine Comte Sénard, where you will enjoy a visit of the vineyard, Les Clos des Meix, as well as the 13th Century cellars. The visit will conclude with a three course traditional lunch, during which you will have the unique opportunity to taste six different wines, complemented further by comments from one the estate’s sommeliers. You will then be taxied to Vosne-Romanée, where you will end your day in style with a VIP tour of a premium winery, which will include a visit of the cellar, explanation of the wine-making process and tastings of five different wines produced at the estate. You will be taken back to your hotel at the end of the tour. We would be delighted to suggest a restaurant and reserve you a table for dinner if required.
On the morning of day three, electric bicycles will be delivered to your hotel. You will firstly cycle to the famous village of Puligny-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune, where you will be welcomed as the guests at one of the biggest names in the village. The experience will include an hour spent in the vineyards, learning all about the work undertaken here, before returning to the winery, where you will enjoy a tour of their estate and cellars. Following the tour, you will be invited into their tasting room, where a broad tasting of six wines from the Côte de Beaune will be offered alongside a delightful three course lunch. The owners and staff are very gracious hosts and the wine tastings and meal always prove both enjoyable and enlightening. In the afternoon, cycle to the magnificent Château de Chassagne-Montrachet. Here, you will enjoy a full tour of the Château’s beautiful cellars dating back to the 11th and 14th Centuries, and your tour will conclude with tastings of five wines from across the region. You will cycle back to your hotel at the end of the day. As always, we would be pleased to reserve you a table for dinner if required.
