Your guide will drop you in Auxerre at the end of the morning. Your guide will be pleased to recommend a suitable restaurant for lunch in Auxerre if required. After lunch, board the 14:37 train, departing from Auxerre and arriving in Beaune at 16:56. You train will go via Dijon or via Laroche-Migennes and the journey time will be approximately 2 ½ hours. We got back last night from our Burgundy escapade, and I am happy to tell you that it was all a great success. Your choices of stops proved very well-judged, each different from the next and each full of interest. What came through with amazing force was the absolute passion of everyone who took us round for what they were doing, their profound knowledge of their terroirs, and the dedication of everyone involved.
