Upon arrival, check into your charming room at Baglio Occhipinti, where rustic elegance meets modern comfort.

Begin your stay with a relaxing afternoon exploring the estate’s vineyard, organic gardens and olive groves. Wander through the lush Sicilian countryside and unwind by the pool, surrounded by fragrant citrus trees.

In the evening, enjoy a farm-to-table welcome dinner featuring fresh, seasonal produce from the estate, paired with Baglio Occhipinti’s organic wines. The dining experience will introduce you to the rich culinary heritage of Sicily and the fascinating story of the Estate.

On day two, following a leisurely breakfast of homemade pastries, local cheeses, and freshly brewed Sicilian coffee, spend the morning at your own pace, relaxing in the tranquil surroundings.

In the late afternoon, a taxi will be provided to take you into nearby Ragusa, one of Sicily’s most picturesque Baroque towns for a guided private tour. You will wander through the narrow streets of Ragusa Ibla, marvel at the stunning architecture, and enjoy the opportunity to explore its historical sites.

End your evening with free time in Ragusa and choose to stay for dinner at one of the town’s delightful restaurants, (we will happily make you a table reservation at one of our favourites) or, if you prefer you can choose to return to Baglio Occhipinti for a more intimate dining experience. (Cost of meal not included in package price). Taxi transportation back to the hotel will be provided for you.

Day three (optional). After a delicious breakfast, your private driver will collect you for a private wine tour through the world of Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG wines – Sicily’s only DOCG designation.  Discover the unique blend of Nero d’Avolo and Frappato grapes which produce a wine celebrated for its vibrant ruby colour, fruity aromas and balanced acidity.  During the tour you will visit boutique wineries known for their commitment to tradition and innovation.  Begin your day with a visit to a family-run estate, where you’ll be guided through the vineyards and cellars, learning about the wine making process that has been passed down through generations. After sampling their exceptional wines, continue to a nearby biodynamic winery where the focus on sustainable practices and artisanal techniques will give you a deeper appreciation for the region’s terroir.

Enjoy a delicious Sicilian lunch in a charming local restaurant (lunch at your own cost) before heading to a prestigious estate renowned for its modern wine making techniques and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.  Conclude your day with a tasting of their premium wines, reflecting the essence of the land and the heritage of Sicily’s wine making traditions.

At the end of the tour your driver will return you to Baglio Occhipinti where you will spend the evening at leisure.

Should you wish to spend the extra day at Baglio Occhipinti we recommend a relaxing stroll in the morning, enjoying the pool and in the afternoon, there is the option to take a cooking class followed by a meal enjoying the dishes you have prepared with wines from the estate.

Day four is departure day. After breakfast you will check out of Baglio Occhipinti and prepare for your onward travel.

Package Prices

• These prices are per person and based on two people travelling together and sharing a twin or double room.
• These are realistic guide prices, based on travel in standard season (usually April to the end of October). Discounts often apply for travel out of season (usually November to the end of March) or if there are more than two of you travelling together. Please let us know your preferred travel dates for a definitive price.
• Although we propose specific hotels as part of our standard packages, we enjoy excellent relationships and preferential rates at the majority of the hotels in each of our featured destinations. Therefore if you would prefer to stay in a different hotel, this can be arranged. Please contact us for the relevant supplements/discounts.
