In the evening, your gastronomic adventure begins with a gourmet welcome dinner at a celebrated Dijon restaurant. Expect bold regional flavours, refined technique, and impeccable Burgundy wine pairings – the perfect introduction to the terroir that defines this extraordinary region.

On day two of your luxury food tour through France, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before meeting your private driver guide who will accompany you on a full-day wine tour of the legendary Côte de Nuits. Known for its Grand Cru Pinot Noirs and centuries-old winemaking traditions, this prestigious stretch between Dijon and Nuits-Saint-Georges is a must for wine lovers.

Enjoy behind-the-scenes access at three family-owned Domaines, each offering a unique perspective on Burgundy’s climats and winemaking philosophies. From vaulted cellars to vine-covered slopes, this is an intimate and enlightening day in the heart of this prestigious wine region.

Your driver will take you back to Dijon in the late afternoon, when you’ll have some time to relax or explore at your own pace before indulging in a refined tasting menu at one of the city’s gastronomic restaurants.

On day three of your luxury food tour through France, after a leisurely breakfast and check-out, your driver will take you south into the Côte de Beaune, home to some of Burgundy’s most celebrated white wines such as Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet.

Your day includes tours and tastings at three wonderful estates best known for their Chardonnays, and you’ll have a truly authentic experience at one of the estates where you’ll be welcomed for a delicious lunch alongside the winemaker! Your lunch will be thoughtfully paired with wines produced just metres from your table.

In the late afternoon, you’ll continue to your next hotel: Château La Commaraine, which offers a truly luxury experience based in a historic chateau-turned-hotel set in some of Burgundy’s prestigious Premier Cru vineyards. Settle into your elegantly appointed room or suite and enjoy the tranquil rhythm of the countryside.

This evening, you’re invited to enjoy a relaxed apéritif in the wine cellar, followed by a convivial dinner featuring local specialities.

After breakfast and check-out on day four of your luxury food tour through France, your driver will guide you south through the scenic hills of Beaujolais, a region known for its expressive Gamay wines and charming villages.

Your morning includes a visit to a characterful historic estate where centuries of heritage are reflected in both the architecture and the glass. Enjoy a relaxed tasting of the estate’s most elegant cuvées and take in the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Next, indulge in a true gastronomic highlight: a Michelin-starred lunch at the renowned Georges Blanc restaurant. Here, classic French technique meets regional produce.

In the afternoon, continue to Lyon, France’s culinary capital, and check in to your luxury hotel, Villa Maia. The evening is yours to explore the city at leisure.

On day five of your luxury food tour through France, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a morning tour that delves into the essence of Lyon’s gourmet identity. You’ll explore the renowned Les Halles de Lyon – Paul Bocuse, an indoor market named after the city’s most iconic chef where generations of artisans and producers offer everything from aged cheeses and charcuterie to delicate pâtisserie and handmade pralines.

Sample regional delicacies as you weave through the stalls and meet the faces behind the flavours that make Lyon a UNESCO-listed capital of gastronomy.

Following this tour, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace and soak up the city of Lyon, perhaps with a stroll through Vieux Lyon, a visit to the Basilica of Fourvière or some relaxed shopping in the Presqu’île district. The final evening of your trip is free for you to spend as you please – maybe you’ve got your eye on a specific restaurant in France’s gastronomic capital – but we’d be happy to arrange a table reservation for you or make recommendations depending on your wishes.

Day six of your luxury food tour through France is departure day. Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Private airport transfers or onward arrangements can be arranged upon request.
