Contact UsThe Rhône and Gastronomy – La Pyramide package is designed to give our guests the opportunity to sample some of the best Northern Rhône wines at well regarded local estates as well as to experience the regional cuisine. La Pyramide Patrick Henriroux 2 Michelin starred restaurant is highly rated for its refined French dishes made from top quality ingredients and the restaurant has proudly kept its two Michelin stars since 1992.
Upon arrival in Vienne, check into your Deluxe room at the 4* hotel La Pyramide. The afternoon will be free for you to settle in and explore independently. In the evening, a delicious 7 course gastronomic dinner will be served in the hotel’s double Michelin starred restaurant. Drinks can be ordered and paid for on the day.
After breakfast, on the morning of day two, you will be met at your hotel by an executive chauffeured vehicle who will accompany you throughout the day on a private basis. Your driver will take you to Tain l’Hermitage and its surroundings where you will learn all about the sought after Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, Saint-Péray and Saint-Joseph wines. You will firstly visit a local domaine where you will be taken on a cellar tour followed by an extensive tasting session of the domaine’s wines. Following the visit, you will be taken to the Vineum wine bar and restaurant in Tain l’Hermitage, owned by the well regarded Domaine Paul Jaboulet Aîné. Here, you will enjoy a tutored tasting session of three Hermitage wines, followed by a delicious lunch paired with two additional local wines. In the afternoon, you will visit another winery where you will follow a full tour of the wine making facilities and take part in a tasting session of the estates’ wines. You will be taken back to your hotel at the end of the tour. The evening will be free for you to do as you please.
On the morning of day three, your chauffeured vehicle will return to take you on a second day of tours and tastings in the Northern Rhône. This time you will explore Ampuis and its surroundings and discover all about the Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie wines. Your day will include visits at three carefully selected local domaines, with tours of the facilities and tastings of the unique wines of these appellations. An authentic five course lunch paired with wines will be served in a charming restaurant. Your driver will take you back to your hotel at the end of the tour. You will have a free evening in Vienne to further explore on your own.

A discount of £150 per person applies to groups of four people or more who are travelling together on the three day break. The discount increases to £300 per person on the four day break.
